Large area possible per treatment
Because you only need to treat the muscle or fascia for a short time and therefore the results are immediately noticeable, you can treat many muscles or a large fascia area per treatment.
Direct result
The results are immediate. By shaking the muscle loose afterward, the therapist can notice a difference. The patient often immediately feels less pain and/or that the treated area is more flexible afterward.
Can be used for large and small muscles, even intercostal muscles
The Sylo pen can be used on large muscles, such as the gluteus maximus. You often need to treat different areas of the muscle. For example, for the fascia surrounding muscles like the hamstrings, you'll use the Sylo pen to treat the fascia between the muscles, both caudal and cranial. You can use the same Sylo pen to treat the hand muscles, which involve very small muscles. You can also use the Sylo pen on the intercostal muscles, which are inaccessible to fingers and cannot be reached with dry needling.
Ergonomic and hygienic
The Sylo pen is designed to be ergonomic and hygienic, thanks to the narrow opening at the front. This opening is so small that no bacteria can enter. You should clean the Sylo pen with alcohol after each use; see "Use."
Unlimited use without extra costs
You don't need any additional tools to use the Sylo pen. After cleaning, it's ready to use immediately and indefinitely.
Reduces the burden on the practitioner's joints
Because of the light pressure required and the quick results, this places much less strain on the practitioner's joints. Patients are very satisfied, and physiotherapists have an easier time—what more could you ask for? So, by the end of the week, you can still shake someone's hand normally. Very important!
